It’s also interesting to know that this is the PHILIPPINES’ 4th straight year placing in the Top 5! I can smell a Miss Universe triumph soon!

BRAZIL’s resurgence as a Pageant powerhouse is also felt! Just like the Philippines, once Brazil enters the semi-finals she ends up iin the Top 5! It placed as 2nd runner-up in 2011 and 4th runner-up last year!

Brazil placed 3 straight times since 2011

Venezuela proves once more that it's the Undisputed Beauty powerhouse! This country had won the Miss Universe title thrice in just a span of 6 years that includes the back to back in 2008 and 2009!!

NO POLITICS THIS YEAR!

As a pageant observer myself who follows the competition closely and had reviewed the Preliminary Competition 3 times! I can conclude that this year’s pageant is judged fairly and based on the candidates’ performance! no major shockers classified, Switzerland, Indonesia and Dominican Republic gave a smashing performance in the prelims so it wasn’t a shock to see them make the Final line-up!

Congratulations to Venezuela!!
